The Texoma region includes Cooke, Fannin, and Grayson Counties and is less than one hour north of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

The Texoma Council of Governments (TCOG) Community & Economic Development Program is designated by the Economic Development Administration (EDA) as the Development District for the Texoma region. The Texoma Economic Development District, and the TCOG Community and Economic Development Program, assist Texoma communities in achieving long-term competitive development through continued planning and program development that encourages private investment in human and natural resources, with the ultimate goal of improving of quality of life.
